Recommendations
The weather in Tierra del Fuego is changeable —sun, rain or snow and wind can all happen in a single day— with average winter temperatures around 0 °C. The key is to dress in layers (the “onion” method) to regulate your temperature.
We recommend: thermal base layers, trekking trousers, waterproof boots, a rain or windproof jacket (ideally Gore-Tex or softshell), a fleece, a warm hat and gloves, sunglasses and sunscreen. Bring your reusable bottle: we have water to refill it.
