An experience designed for people in good physical condition, trained for long walks, willing to challenge the changing weather and enjoy nature, in a corner of Los Glaciares National Park, which, due to its location, preserves a state of maximum purity.
Leaving from Calafate, and traveling along Route 15, you access the Pioneers' Pier, located on the shores of Lake Roca.
All aboard, you navigate the South Arm of Lake Argentino to its southern end, where you disembark to begin the first hike. One hour and a half on a moraine and wooded path that leads to Lake Frias, with its pure waters and hidden glaciers, which recede leaving numerous icebergs as witnesses of the immensity that surely had.
There the semi-rigid awaits. Once on board again, another 30-minute navigation begins until disembarking at Playa de la Pared, where the second 4.5 km hike begins, with little slope and medium technical demands, to enter, through the forest, the Andes Mountain Range until reaching the border with Chile and the watershed.
**The final destination will be the Anfiteatro de los Glaciares, where the Grande, Cubo and Dickson glaciers can be seen.
This experience only has capacity for 15 people.
