Posada Los Álamos

Operating since 1984 — with its on-site golf course inaugurated in 1997 — and still a reference point in El Calafate, Posada Los Álamos pairs the sculptural presence of dark timber with the warmth of a four-star boutique. Its 144 individually decorated rooms look onto century-old gardens or the surrounding mountains. The kitchen is led by La Posta Restaurant, where Patagonian lamb sits at the centre of a regional menu. Forty-five metres from the lobby lies the only golf course in El Calafate: par 3, 18 holes.
